Wanted to drop a short note to you guys. I received my P11-F yesterday, I'm very pleased with it. The beauty and playability of your cues are unmatched as far as I'm concerned. Keep up the great work. Also, tell whichever craftsman that constructed my cue, that I said thank you.

Not a question, just a compliment. Currently shooting with my 2nd Pechauer cue and I have say that your work is absolutely unequaled for its quality. It's a great stick with an excellent feel and 'hit.' Thank you.

Hello there no question just wanted to let you know I have been a loyal Pechauer user for a long time, finest quality and performance I have ever played with just recently ordered and received your low deflection shaft in a 30 inch 11.75 mm tip version and have to tell you it is simply amazing. I am an advanced masters player and seriously am considering moving up another level thanks to the solid hit from this shaft. played in a tournament on Saturday and ran 14 consecutive racks WOW keep the amazing work thanks

Thank you so much for the cue you made for my husband. it keeps his boys close while doing what they both loved! You're care n effort shows n we brag about what an amazing job you all did... again thank you for bringing father n sons together again...
Jeremy Perry n Brenda Perry. N Clayton

I just want to say thank you. I've been back playing now for about 1 1/2 years and been through what seems like every cue maker on the planet and always find issues with the craftsmanship or playability of the product. A few months back I purchased your jump cue, to say the least I was impressed with the playability and the quality of the build. As a result of the jump cue being so good, I just purchased your break cue based soley on the quality and performance of your jump cue. Well more money well spent, your break cue is excellent and I have owned all the top brands in the past. This cue is far superior than the others in quality and performance. Again thanks and keep producing the quality you are now. Mike Piedmont, SC

Hi Steve,

Just wanted to give you some feedback on the cue I received back. It looks brand new! Thank you for the joint protectors and the case looks great! I appreciate the attention to detail on the refurbishment of the cue including the reshaping of the butt cap and the detail on the signature on the cue. It’s really motivated me to get out and shoot with it again!

Thank you very much for all the suggestions and information!

Warmest Regards,

Dear Scott,
Thank you for your prompt reply concerning my tip choices. I decided to use the Pechauer Gold Medium, and received my cue, a P13-F, purchased from Frank Tullos of Break Time Billiards in Winston-Salem, NC. The workmanship on the cue is flawless, and the hit is perfect as well. I am about to retire, and just starting to play again after my "pool retirement" in 1971. The other cues I owned were made by ***** ******** and ****** **********. I never thought I would own a cue that played as well as my **********, but my Pechauer is even better. Wish all of you every success.

Hello, I have been a very loyal customer of a cue company that is a competitor of Pechauer Cues for many years. About a year ago I purchased another one of their cues through ********.com. I was shocked upon receiving the cue... File and abrasive marks left on the butt, runs in the finish, and glue-gaps at inlay joints. ******** exchanged it with another identical model. I couldn't believe it... Exact same quality issues! At the same time my girlfriend bought one of your JP series cues. I am a lifelong wood worker. I have made a living manufacturing custom, traditional archery equipment and inlayed handgun grips. I know superior wood craftsmanship and finish application when I see it. After handling and playing with her new Pechauer cue I was instantly sold on your cues! ********.com was great, and without any problems exchanged your competitors cue, again, and upgraded me to one of your Pro Series cues. I can not tell you how much I love it! Fit and finish... Perfect! Your quality of curly maple... Awesome! The cue's hit... EXACTLY what I like! Value... Couldn't be happier! Keep this up and you have a loyal, lifetime customer. I am an "A" player and am often asked about my equipment. Your cue has received much attention! The curly maple under pool lights "grabs 'em". I've had much fun promoting my new Pechauer cue. Your break cue and jump cue are in my very near future. Two short questions... Could you please explain to me the difference between the Pro Series and the new Pro-F series? Also, in my neck of the woods there is argument as to the pronunciation of Pechauer... Long or short E? :) Again, thanks for our awesome cues! Can't wait for our next Pechauer cues!

Received shipment yesterday at 1600 hrs. Thanks. The cues are phenomenal!! The shafts will be tested tonight in about an hour and a half. I have some tough experts doing the testing. I will be using one with my Winchester as I have found the JP Pro Performance shaft series, fits my cue like a glove!!(snicker) Will email you later on in the week. Sold both cues and 2 shafts already. Better keep a stock for me as I truly believe these Performance shafts are gonna be a steady seller for me.
Please give my regards to your production staff as they produce some of the best cues I sell.
Thanks again. Will be in touch next week to submit another order. Cheers.

I meant to write you again but I've been busy.  The police academy starts next week.  I have been playing non stop with the cues and love every detail.  I can't think of one thing I would change.  I find it amazing that you nailed everything with our conversations over the phone.  I love the way they play and love every bit.  Just last night I strung together a three pack in 8 ball to win my match.  I can't thank you guys enough, you were amazing to work with and I'm sure I wasn't easy.  I've had a lot of people ask about them as well.  I'm doing everything I can to get more people to order some American made Pechauer stuff, everyone wants predator for some crazy reason.  But sincerely thank you, this is amazing to have something I imagined in my head come out so perfectly. Thanks, Pete M

Joe, it has been a year since you made the Green African Crocodile wrap cue for me. Your suggestions transformed my little idea into an outstanding cue.
The Green African Crocodile wrap is flawlessly mounted with the ring work. Ivory inlays in the Malachite an unexpected surprise. Something special when a year later I can truly say my appreciation for the craftsmanship for this cue has increased over time.
Thank you Joe

Final decision! The cue is perfect! I shot in a Master's match over the weekend and won 7-3.The cue is beautiful, it plays really well! I was concerned about the weight but, I feel it seemed a little heavy since I have been using my wife's 17 oz. Pechauer. Thank you again for bending over backwards to satisfy a customer.

I am ecstatic to say the least. My client is extremely happy as well. These are the two of the finest cues I have ever seen. Can't wait to hit them. Please pass on to Joe that we will be showing off these cues at the Western Canadian VNEA Championships being held this week and weekend. I'm sure we'll get a favorable response, beyond expectations. Thanks again for all your help.

I have a Pechauer cue I bought 3 years ago and I absolutely love it, both play style and look.
What I am inquiring about if I sent the picture in could you make the same design as a Jump/Break Cue and a snooker cue?
I have had many sticks over the past 36 years and finally settled on what I like and want.
James B.

Dear Joe,
I recently bought a Pechauer 2010 Pro Series Pool Cue- P-04 and I love it.  Nice balance and beautiful workmanship. One day I may have to bite the bullet and buy one of you custom cues.
I currently don't own a breaking cue. Is it OK to use my cue for breaking? I assume it must be OK but just the same I would like to hear what you have to say about it.
Kind Regards,
Noel R.

I'm looking at buying a cue; the owner has indicated that it is a J. Pechauer cue. What are the identifiers to know it’s really one of yours? References as where a signature is always placed, any special hidden # as to what model it might be?
Thank you for your attention to this and I look forward to using one of your cues, as I have heard great things about your cues.
Scott L.

To whom it may concern,
This is Brandon again that emailed you about the weight awhile back. I have been promoting your cues ever since I started shooting with this cue. I absolutely love the cues you produce. I believe I may have turned a few people your way. I was wondering how much it would cost for a custom cue. Not too sure what exactly I want at this point but I know I at least want a 6 point cue 3 long points and 3 points a little shorter. If you could please email me back and give me a round about cost for a cue. Thank you for your time.

Steve, thank you! You showed me your professionalism and Pechauer's pride in their products. Once again, THANK YOU! My wish is that my abilities match what was created by Joe.

J. Pechauer Custom Cues
I wanted to take the opportunity to say what an outstanding cue the JP Series (L Series) - JP USA-NW is. I purchased one a few weeks ago and it rocks. Simple, elegant, precise and made in the U.S.A. I had the tip upgraded to a soft. It is rare that a product exceeds my expectations. Yours does. I ran into an interesting problem that may help you. My brother loved my new cue; however, he did not want an identical cue. He bought a ****** mid range price and my Pechauer is superior. I guess my point is that if you expanded your JP entry level cue line to included different colors, you could potentially sell more cues to the same house hold (s). Blue, Red, Black, Green for example. I purchased your cue based on that it was not a main stream cue or being pushed like ******, **********, or ********. I will take class over flash any day, and you hit that right on the money adding performance, and made in the U.S.A. is priceless. Thanks for a great cue, have an excellent holiday.

I got and have shot with the new LD shaft I ordered from you.  So far I like it very much and just wanted to say thanks for getting it out to me so quickly.
I will order from you again in the future.

I recently purchased a J. Pechauer cue (used) and I have a few questions about it. The seller told me he bought it in 2001.  This cue BTW hits better than anything I have hit with in years, maybe ever and I have hit with ********, *****, *******, and lots of others. Your dedication to providing a superior product is appreciated.

Steve - thanks for everything.  You have my address for shipping.  If you could notify me of what shipping carrier you use and a tracking number I would appreciate it so I won't have to sit around the house wondering when it will come.  Also, you guy's make great cues.  Pechauer cues are absolutely perfect cues.

I purchased a JP07-L today from Saunders Pro in Barrie Ontario Canada and I am blown away with the playability and fit and finish of the cue. It is by far the best cue I have played with, and I have played with what some consider to be the best(********)and I am 100% satisfied with my choice. I am also a Packers fan so anything from Green Bay must be good.

Joe, I received the cue 17 August, just in time to take it to the Las Vegas APA Masters Tournament on 19 August. At the tournament I looked at all the vendor’s cues. Not a single cue there had a wrap that matched the quality of the wrap you put on this cue. Exceeded my expectations, I appreciate the change from 4 Malachite inlays in the butt, to the 5 Malachite inlays with each having inlays inside the Malachite. The more you look at the cue more you appreciate it. Definitely grows on you. I do like the Camelot style joint more than the silver joint. Great job. I am not a great pool player but I do have great cues.
Thank you again Joe

Hello and thanks for making an AMAZING cue! This is my first personal cue ever (after using house cues for about 30 years) and I wanted to do it the right way so Pechauer was the only choice for me. The way my JP-05 hits is wonderful (and it’s AMERICAN)! OK, now the question; Do I need to register with you to make sure the warranty is active as I know its for the original owner only, but I didn't see anywhere on your site where or how to do this. Thanks again,

I am writing you to express the inexplicable satisfaction that I experienced when both seeing and playing with my recently produced cue.  It is visually stunning and the decisions that we made turned out to be even better than I expected.  The Camelot shaft adds to the overall aesthetic appeal of the cue, but plays the same as my previous 314-2.  I have always been impressed with Pechauer and their dedication to their work, but this has set a new standard for me.  I just wanted to express my opinion to you all as a work of art, design, and function like this one deserves to be commended.  Please feel free to use this as a testimonial or I would be glad to write a more official one.  Thanks again!!

I just felt compelled to let you know that I think that what you guys are doing is great. I have been in the market for a new cue for quite some time now, and was naturally considering the big names like ******, ******, ********, etc... I got lucky though and my birthday is coming up, so my father, who plays on my APA team (which starts our regional tournament on the road to the championship in Las Vegas this coming Saturday), gave me one of your cues today as an early birthday present. I have just got to tell you this is one of the finest sticks that I have played with and I am proud to own this cue. I just wanted to let you all know that after receiving this stick as a gift and researching the Pechauer name a little bit, I am behind your business 100% and will definitely be bragging to the guys in my league about my new stick and where they can get one. Thanks again.

Dear Joe;
Two months ago, after ten years of staying off the game, I purchased a jc19 l from Nashville Billiard Company. Since then, I have been playing two tournaments per week, and one larger tournament per month. I have also habitually practiced a minimum of five additional days per week.

When I was seventeen years of age, I purchased a ****** m4. I played for ten years out of the Seattle area with this cue. I am now thirty-eight years of age and starting over. Thank You for not only an extremely high quality tool, but a beautiful motivator.

I wish that you had better representation in my area though. I live in Bowling Green, KY. Some of the less experienced and younger players that I encounter don't even recognize your name. When they see my new jc9l, and they take a few shots, it makes them regret their ********  and ****** purchases. Most of them just don't know any better.

I shoot out of the nicest pool hall in the state, Cue Time Billiards. I see a lot of people. Even though I am starting all over again as a "C" player, would you be embarrassed if I wore one of your shirts? If not, I would be honored to do so. I spend roughly three hundred dollars per month on getting better. I spend at least ten minutes per practice telling fellow players who made my beautiful cue.
I have attached a picture of this cue, as I have not seen a JC 9L online anywhere (plenty of JC's and JP's, no L's and none this color).  Any info would be appreciated.

Again, Thank You for an Awesome Tool, and a Beautiful Work of Art. You and Your team have set some Terrific Standards.

Hello, I got the Cam 2 Prototype from you..
I’d like to first say that when I got to try this cue out I was shocked at how well this cue plays. I want to let you know that I’ve played with tons of cues over the years and this has got to be one of the best playing cues for my style anyway that I’ve ever used.  Its the best cue I have in my case. Thank you for making such a great cue.  Second I offered to join your facebook and haven’t gotten any reply yet.  Thirdly I was wondering if there is any way I could get some kind of certificate of auth from you on this cue.  Not sure just how much of a big deal this is to have but it would be nice to have.  Again thanks for your great workmanship and fantastic cue making. Gary

Good day gentlemen:
I've held many a fine and playable cues in my day, but the cue you custom made for my cousin, Dan W. has got to be one of the sharpest looking cues I've ever seen. The joint protectors, as they 'pop' out of the Giuseppe case, wow, it sets a man back! Now, all I have to do is talk him into selling it to me!

Joe, I picked up the cue today and played my league match with it Friday night.
It played great and won. It is a very fine cue, appearance better than I expected. I did not expect to see so much character in the Maple handle. Really difficult to explain all the little details and grains of the wood without someone actually holding the cue. Your selection of wood enhanced the overall appearance of the cue. You have done an exceptional job with the inlays; I am very pleased with their appearance. It is a great design you made, beat my expectations, definitely a quality cue.

Wish I was better with words to describe the cue, but I received what I wanted without a doubt, and I am very happy.
Thank you Joe

Thank you very much, I must say I purchased a Pechauer cue without knowing much about your company, but its quality was obvious just by looking at it.  After having a chance to interact with people that work for the company, I know that my next cue will be a Pechauer.Thank you, it’s so very rare to deal with such a professional outfit.

Hi Steve,
I received an e-mail today from Pechauer expressing how busy your shop has been thus far this year.  I am really happy to hear that.  We have had a lot of interest in your cues here at Billiard Pro Shop.  I wanted to let you know that I personally have been using one of the new Pechauer break cues and I absolutely love it.  I took it out with me last night and let several people playing with us use it.  The feedback from everyone was phenomenal.  One person even made the eight ball off the break which he has only done one other time in his life.  People really like the product, and I thought you might like to hear.
Talk to you soon,

Subject: Kudos For Your Cues
Mr. Pechauer,
My husband and I have had Pechauer cues for some years now, having tried other types and being let down time and again.  My husband is Active Duty Military and we just returned to the US from a 5 year tour in England.  Of course, we took our cues with us...and wherever we went in England, people just LOVED our cues.  Your name isn't huge in the pool halls we were in, but they definitely know your name now.  Your cues traveled very well on all the flights we've taken them on, never warping or breaking (of course, we take extra protective measures with hard cases and joint protectors).  We wouldn't dream of shooting pool with any other cue on the planet.
Thank you for making such a sturdy, beautiful cue!  Please keep it up and we'll keep sending business your way!

Hi, I'm an Italian Pool Player, It's about 3 years I play with a Pechauer cue, now I've bought your new break cue.
I think they are both amazing, solid hit, great control, I'm proud to play with your products.
By the way, I'm writing this email to know if you could kindly send me two Pechauer logo patches to apply on my tournament uniform.
Thank you and sorry for my not perfect English

I ordered a P17C from one of your dealers (ARS Billiards in Corona, CA) a couple days ago.  I can't wait until it gets in!
I also ordered a set of joint protectors for it.  I was wondering if your joint protectors are all standard, or if they are made to match the cue.
I would really appreciate if you could help me out on this.
Thank you very much for making an excellent product at a reasonable price.  This will be my first JP and I have heard nothing but good things about them.  I look forward to this cue being the first of many to come.
Thanks again,

Hey there.I just wanted to let you know how I came to love your cues....I was out looking for a cue and I shot with a ******* at the time...AND I walk into a local store and I told the owner I wanted a cue I could break with and not #%^*  it up...haha Well he looks on his back wall and says well you want a Pechauer...and I said to him...are they any good..(I haven’t bought that many cues) and he says " I won't shoot with anything else, ever".... and this guy ran the local circuit for a number of years. I end up picking out the JP USA all black butt with no wrap...I think it’s the JC Series...but even though its not your top or even mid grade stuff I will never ever shoot with anything else...you will have my business for life..I eventually want to upgrade to a Crown Jewel  maybe in the next year or so...but I thought I would just drop by and say hey YOU GUYS MAKE THE BEST CUES IN THE WORLD... you have a fan for life....I just love the solid hit of the cue...

Just wanted to drop a note saying how pleased I am with my recent purchase of a JC15 cue. The difference in the hit is quite evident when compared to the cues I had been using. I am now saving up my pennies and nickels in order to purchase another of your cues. Thank you.
Jeff J.

I received my cue today and want to thank everyone involved in the wonderful service I received. The cue is perfectly straight. The Moori tip is not only installed professionally but you took the time to shape and burnish it as well. I see you also installed a new ferrule at no cost to me. The cue performs beautifully and I am more than satisfied with the results.

I have a PR-13 which is identical to the one on your web site with one exception; the Birdseye Maple on my cue is stained (smoke) like the PR-12. When I first noticed this cue I immediately purchased it and have since sold all my other cues and play exclusively with this cue.  I would like to purchase an additional shaft with a medium soft tip; I’m interested in the PR-13C shaft (the Pro Series Crown Jewel shaft). My questions are:
1.what would be my cost for the PR-13C shaft w/ medium soft tip
2.would I need to send the cue to you for fitting
3.if I send the cue to you, what would be the turnaround time
Thank you for your assistants and please tell J Pechauer (both father and son) that I love there Cues.

Subject: Playing with the Pechauer
Hi Victor,
I took the cue out to play last night and I am still a bit in shock, it
is the best playing cue I own! OK, sometimes hard to recall and compare,
but certainly in the top 5 of best playing cues :-) Usually I need a few
hours to get used to a new cue, but this one just fits like a glove. It
is one of those cues that feels lighter than the actual weight, which I
find always a sign of a cue that is balanced right. The solid piloted
ivory joint gives excellent feedback on how I hit the cue ball too.
Well, or maybe I just had a great day yesterday, I ran out twice 4 games
in a row, which is quite a bit above my rather poor average performance
these days. I am glad that I have three shafts for it, I will keep it
as my playing cue to see if I keep being impressed with the playability
over a longer time.
Best regards
Joerg K.

Subject: Kingwood pool cue
Many times I have inspected this cue and I am still amazed at the excellent selection of the wood. That piece of Kingwood enhances the detail of the inlays tremendously.
I spent weeks searching exotic woods on the internet and I could not have been more fortunate that you had this piece in your shop. Even the quality of the Maple exceeds my other cues. This is my third Pechauer cue and it definitely hits harder, draws more, and puts more english in play.
